Just a quickie

well been ages yet again, been preoccupied with non-art work and real life T_T
least managed to draw Luylien profile drawings, not the best and roughly coloured - see one side of her 13 year old state (her age when the story begins) and the other side is her early 20s self (where her story ends pretty much she gets to face her life purpose and the origins of her 'demon' surface) the middle one is just the general body shape, pretty skinny boyish flat chest slim hips lack of punctuation in long winded sentences she wears anything you put on her and has limited expressions which could be due to a mix of unpleasant things and the drugs Saiyu tests on her who knows :C oh god grammar and english went out the window
Those are just standard colours

The title says it all :V

It's not like anyone knows I exist (don't worry this isn't going to turn all excessively emotional hatred or anything) but I've tried not to neglect my art work and so I'm yet again going to post my WIP -cheer- provided it allows the file size and that the wireless connection doesn't give way whilst uploading :/ anyway here we go!

The first one up is the poor-man picture who dives for a bread crumb - hoping to do a series of opposite drawings. So this one would be a man who has nothing but his freedom, I should/probably will rename the picture - I know at the moment no-one can tell what really is going on but I assure you it will be awesome when finished :D if not then your money back :p

Secondly, a new story titled "Someone Save Me" about an 'angel' who grants the wish of one person to revive present her dead lover after the couple had had a misunderstanding/spat causing one of them to get run over :C But every wish has a price, what could this one be?
The past of the Gen(iella) haunts her as the souls of previous partners, friends and family who have all disappeared throughout her short life take hostage of her revived lover, Cammi. Can Dan ever come to terms with the dread that has already befallen her?

Who knows :C -gasp-

I have more pencil sketches as well as So Simple inked just need to scan my laziness away

Fish concepts

Hullos again - here's a few pieces of work I've been doing in the past couple of weeks for a project -hush hush-

used sharks as a template - granted these onse look more like reptiles than fish :/

idea for a townsfolk but I'm not too sure - perhaps too much like a fish than man : C

I like the red drawing of fish woman - below is side view of same creature - do I like it ? I don't know, I may have ruined it
I painted the little guy with the blade arms :3

I haven't painted in years, if I ever did outside classes, which shows in the landscape

Free simple stat and money building game, name your caveman or woman and earn money through games, hunting or slave labour till you complete the quest requirements to evolve (sounds like Pokemon) :D similar to another competitive tycoon game that my siblings were obsessed with before. But without the evolutions

Updates daily, all it takes is about a few minutes of your time a day and then you can leave it be till the next day

My cave-woman is "serotonin" of the Caribou Sniffers

Oh that's another thing, the tribe you start in is random but you can change tribes once you earn enough

FEEDBACK PLEASE

It's for final year project
Mooooo ) :
My animatic isn't good and there's little time though the storyboard itself is the main focus in the project, and I prefer that to the animatic. Probably due to not having me messing *cough* sorting out the timing for the shots, as well as the originals not having been horrible mutilated by my amateur Photoshop-igsh ways
Anyway the following are the original storyboards ^-^'' and for some reason i can't upload the animatic - i shall keep trying though

I have to write the whole report still... At least I've got the storyboards though, just need to neaten things, add some colour and put into Toonboom and attempt an animatic -pray that the gods are on my side-

I have done some stuff that could possible go in the portfolio >.> lol
Not done anything for Studiio business... might try to do some tonight : (

man.. that was close, just as i published the entry the laptop went to standby -phew-

anyway, for some bizarre reason I don't know, the scanner in the lrc by default emails your scans as pdf >_> so the majority of the images i scanned are in pdf format D: There was only two that I have from February that are jpegs

So, here you go:


The first one is Luylien (again) just waking up in the morning, and the second image was drawn with the thought of being rooted, and showing this one to other people, most said that it was either a boss monster or Silent Hill like >_> seriously I'm not taking things from that, as cool as the SH monsters look - especially the ones for the 5th game .O.

Inking the 2nd image, and it's looking much better than the one shown here.

luylien holding meiyuet 001

Well, at this very moment in time my entire brain is in pain and lacking focus >_> due to sitting at the computer for too long, and my stomach is making noises and also watching the original japanese YuGiOh series. Yea, I'm always going to be a fan of Yugioh and Seto Kaiba with his starched trench-coats.

Started working on a digital [gasp here] drawing on the 31st Jan 2008 after doing a small drawing of two people holding each other from a off angle top down view.
Then thought it would be good to have it so that it was Luylien and Meiyuet, seeing as I still don't know for certain on Meiyuet's appearance.

This is also for Portfolio work, trying to do new things T-T Started the website designs but not far at all. I'll take a break and then work on Dreamweaver.

1st Feb - (last hours in the evening)

2nd Feb 08 - no work towards this.

3rd Feb 08 - started working on this in the from some time in the afternoon (Murder She Wrote was on ITV) and taking a break at 8.05pm

so far the WIP images are as followed: -

Both figures fully drawn - basic - Meiyuet's arm proportion >_>' needs fixing. They are both too be 15 years old in this drawing, and yes Luylien's body is meant to be like that, neither too feminine or mascaline

Added more details on clothing as well as their trademarks - Luylien's bead bracelet and Meiyuet's moon lotus necklace. Debating on if Meiyuet's body shape is okay, originally quite thin to average but I think I like the trick of the t-shirt as it makes her look a bit more wider and healthier than before; her head was the problem before too, being either too old looking or her eye was too big.

Looking better in my opinion, widen the arm so she wasn't a stick. and hair seems more natural spread out like that

Next time...

I'm having difficulty researching into animations that experiment with the techniques they use as animation that asks "why do people do the things they do?" and other topics similar for my final year project.

The project is researching into different styles and techniques used in animations that deal with questioning life so that it'll help when storyboarding a chapter of a story, where the main character not only asks these type of questions regarding her own life but also suffers one hallucinations triggered by touch sensory and environment

I was wondering if anyone could recommend who/where to look into or suggest animations to watch.
